Gary Lee Billings, 77, of Edinboro, Pennsylvania, passed away unexpectedly on August 14th, 2022. He was born on December 8th, 1944 to Lloyd and Mazie Billings, in Meadville, Pennsylvania.
Gary was a graduate of General McLane High School and served honorably in the United States Army until 1971.
In addition to his parents’ passing, Gary was also preceded in death by his older brother, Ronnie Billings.
He was blessed to have found the love of his life and shared 36 incredible years with his wife, Sandy. Gary is also survived by his sister Peggy Billings and her husband Ray MacPherson, his children David and Carol Billings, Michael and Robin Billings, Sharon and Cy Ley, James S. Brown, Stephen E. and Jill Brown, along with a host of grandchildren and great-grandkids.
Skilled in carpentry, Gary started his own business, Billings Builders, and later worked for many years at Robertsons creating custom counter tops. After retiring, he went to work for Dobber Auto Supply making deliveries where he loved getting around and meeting people.
Gary was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, loved NASCAR, bowling, hunting and especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Interment will be at the Mill Village Cemetery in a private family gathering.
