Rhoda D. McIntire, age 68, of Waterford, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at UPMC Shadyside, Pittsburgh. Born in Livingston, TX on July 24, 1954, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Betty Webster Mohr.

Rhoda married Jack L. McIntire Jr. in 1974 and he preceded her in death in 2014. She was a homemaker who loved her husband, children and grandchildren very much, and because of her strong faith, she never met a stranger, and had the ability to make people feel happy. She was an active, longtime member of the Union City Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, where she used her gifts playing music and singing. Rhoda was very talented musically, and could play piano, organ, guitar, and accordion, and for years, she sang in churches with her sisters and parents.
Family members that preceded her in death were her parents and husband; two brothers, David Bishop and Daniel Bishop; and three sisters, Diana Yazembiak, Elizabeth (Betsy) Krauel, and Deborah Mohr.
Surviving family members include her three children, Renee McIntire (Kelby Fuchs) of Lewiston, ID, Jack McIntire and wife Heather, and Joe McIntire and wife Jess, all of Waterford; her twin sister, Rachel Pittsenbarger and sister, Sarah McDivitt; Lindsey, Haley, Ethan; and her beloved grandchildren- James, Dom-Jack, Marcus; Emma, Cohen, Alexis, Chase; Benjamin and one to be born.
Friends may call at Van Matre Funeral Home in Waterford on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral services will be at the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church in Union City on Friday at 10:00 am officiated by Pastor Tom Hunsberger. Burial will follow at Waterford Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church in Union City.
We are so very sorry hear of Rhoda’s death. She was such a wonderful person. We have many fond memories of her and your family. Like Camp Burton, Grace church, her piano playing, her singing and all the times she cut Bill’s hair, to name a few. We know she’s happy in heaven with Jesus and Jack and others. And we know we will see her again some day. Please know we are praying for all of you at this difficult time of loss. 🙏❤️🙏
