James Martin Armagost, age 82, of Cambridge Springs passed away on October 26, 2022, at Crawford County Care Center. Marty was born in Erie on May 14, 1940, the son of the late William Armagost and Laura Wolfe Armagost.  He served with the US Army from 1960-1963. He was trained as a machinist working at Penn Union for over twenty-five years, retiring in 2002. He was a member of the Union City American Legion, Post 237 and Saegertown American Legion, Post 205. Marty enjoyed going to the casino and visiting with his family and friends.

     He was preceded in death by brothers Marvin, Charles, and Lemuel Armagost; sisters Jessie Donahue, Eva Totman, and Lauretta Carpenter. 

     Survivors include son, David Troutner and his wife, Linda of Erie; daughter, Michelle Kiskadden and her husband, Richard of Saegertown; son, Jonathon Troutner and his wife, Teresa of Saegertown; son, Bob Troutner and his wife, Desiree of Erie; son, Garrett Armagost of Cambridge Springs; eleven grandchildren; brother, George Armagost of Saegertown; brother, Kenneth Armagost of Union City; and many nieces and nephews.
