Gerald Paul Crowl, 63, of Cambridge Springs passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Tuesday, October 4, 2022. Gerald was born in Greenville, PA on March 20, 1959, the son of the late Paul A. Crowl and Maxine Morrison Crowl. He graduated with the Cambridge Springs High School class of 1978 and entered the US Army in June of 1979 serving in Germany until June 1983. On June 6, 1982, Gerald married Shirley Irene Maricle. He worked at Lord Manufacturing in Cambridge Springs for over twenty-five years and enjoyed collecting Native American artifacts and had a diverse arrowhead collection. .

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Crowl on September 16, 2020.
Survivors include, son, George Gerald Crowl and his wife, Wendy of Cambridge Springs; son, Ted Thomas Crowl of Cambridge Springs; daughter, Jane Crowl of Cambridge Springs; daughter, Pearl Crowl of Cambridge Springs; sister, Ann Whitney and her husband, Brian of Wichita, Kansas; brother, Jim Crowl and his wife, Kim of Woodcock; brother, Brian Crowl and his wife, Stephanie of Cambridge Springs; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to call at Van Matre Funeral Home in Cambridge Springs on Friday, October 7, 2022, from 10 -11 am. Interment will follow at Venango Cemetery.
