Connie Eileen MacPherson, age 64, of Edinboro, PA, passed through the gates of heaven and into Jesus’ arms on Monday, December 26, 2022. She was born in Meadville, PA on August 12, 1958 to Royce and Evelyn (Powers) Knapp, who both preceded her in death.

   Growing up in Albion, Connie graduated from Northwestern High School in 1976 then attended Florida School for Flight Attendants.  Later in life she graduated from Tri-State Business Institute of Erie with a degree in medical billing and coding with a 4.0 grade point average. 

   She was employed by Albion Elements for several years before gaining employment at Ogden Manufacturing of Fry Road, Edinboro, where she worked for over 26 years as a machine operator. She retired from Penn-Union of Edinboro after 11 years of service.

   Connie loved her family and enjoyed visiting with everyone around a campfire and at family gatherings. She also loved crafting of all sorts, reading, looking for beach glass, doing crossword puzzles, and napping with her favorite cat.

   On October 27, 1979, Connie married Bruce MacPherson of Saegertown, PA. They were married for 43 years and had two wonderful daughters, Jamie MacPherson of Fairview, PA and Kelly (MacPherson) and her husband Brandon Mosier of Edinboro. In addition, Connie is survived by her sister, Peggy (Knapp) and her husband Timothy Watkins; two brothers, Tom Knapp of Harborcreek and Larry Knapp and his wife Bonnie (Lane) of Albion; and several nieces and nephews.

   There will be no services. Friends and family are encouraged to make memorial contributions to St. Jude Children’s Cancer Research Hospital.
