Lawrence Charles McCartney, age 81, of Mill Village, passed away Friday, January 20, 2023 at Saint Vincent Hospital. Born in Meadville on March 13, 1941, he was a son of the late Albert and Alberta Beerbower McCartney. He married Donna Jean McWilliams on September 8, 1962, and she preceded him in death on August 15, 2018.

Larry is survived by his daughter, Pamala Babcock and her husband Kevin of Mill Village; three grandchildren: Troy Martin and wife Savannah, Ryan Martin and wife Lena, and Skylar Martin; four great-grandchildren: Olivia, Serena, Ella-Jean, and Shane; his brother, Gary McCartney; and many loving nieces and nephews.

For many years Larry was employed at Snap-Tite in Union City as a machinist, and he was a lifetime member of the Masons and Scottish Rite, 33rd degree.

Friends may attend a memorial service at Draketown Christian Church, Edinboro on Saturday, January 28th at 11:00 am with Pastors Daryl Myer and Ron Kennedy officiating. Private burial will be in Mill Village Cemetery.
