Betty Jane Floyd, 72, passed away on Friday, May 19, 2023, at Crawford County Care Center after a period of declining health. Betty was born in Meadville, on June 17, 1950, daughter of the late Howard G. Floyd and Bessie A. Beckman Floyd. She was a 1968 graduate of Saegertown High School where she played the clarinet in marching band. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, knitting and crafting and had won numerous ribbons at the Crawford County Fair. She had attended the First Church of God in Cambridge Springs and loved the company of her poodle, Casey. 

     Survivors include sister Dolores G. Humes of Woodcock Boro, brother Howard G. Floyd, Jr. of Saegertown, nieces Shelly Woge and her husband Rudy of Meadville and Suzanne Pike of Saegertown, and numerous great nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

     Friends may call at Van Matre Funeral Home, Wednesday evening May 24 at 6 pm until the time of funeral service at 7 pm. Interment Mitchell Cemetery.
