John Marchese, age 73, of Edinboro, passed away Thursday, May 11, 2023 at home surrounded by his loving family. John was born in Cheswick, PA on January 17, 1950, son of the late Emilio Marchese and Jessie (Auld) Marchese. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Julia Klee Marchese, his son Noah Marchese (Laura), and daughters Libby Dore (Greg), Halley Lorei (Brent), Ivy Marchese, and nine adoring grandchildren. John was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters, Karen Reilly and Kathy Powell.
John loved Edinboro and grew up spending summers at Edinboro Lake. He earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Environmental Science from Gannon University. John was a vibrant earth-loving soul. He dedicated his life to his family, creating clean water, and his legacy, Scotland Yards Greenhouse. John never wasted an opportunity to express how lucky he was and what a wonderful life he had. He will be forever missed by the many lives he touched.
