Norma J. Horoschuck, 89, of Bradford, formerly of Drakes Mills, Cambridge Springs died peacefully at her home on June 25, 2023. Norma was born in Mercer, PA on October 26, 1933, the daughter of the late Elmer and Georgetta Smith. She graduated as salutatorian from Mercer High School with the class of 1951. She married John W. Horoschuck on October 16, 1954, and he preceded her in death on December 17, 2013. Norma worked as a legal secretary for a law firm in Mercer until her marriage. While living in Drakes Mills, during her fifty-nine year marriage to John, she worked as a housekeeper supporting her husband in all things large and small. As one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, she was well known in the community as a teacher of God’s word. She attended the Bradford congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses after her move from Drakes Mills in 2018. Formerly, she attended the Cambridge Springs congregation for over sixty-four years. As Norma always loved the outdoors, she enjoyed any yard work, gardening and especially  mowing grass.

In addition to her parents and husband John Horoschuck, she was preceded in death by infant sister Doris Pearl Smith; sister Nina R. Shaffner of Bradford (formerly of Meadville), two brothers Donald E. Smith of Bradford and Allan J. Smith of Mercer.

Survivors include two sister-in-laws  Sandra Smith of Bradford, wife of Donald, and Linda Smith of Mercer, wife of Allan.
