Thomas Andrews, 85, of Cambridge Springs passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, after a period of declining health at Encompass Health and Rehabilitation Hospital, Erie. Tom was born on August 3, 1937, in Cambridge Springs, the son of the late John Andrews and Bertha Russell Andrews. He graduated from Cambridge Springs High School with the class of 1955 and served with the US Army from 1961 until 1962.  On June 30, 1962, Tom married the former Thelma Kay Wagner. Tom had previously worked at HJ Finck for many years, Lord Manufacturing for over ten years, and retired from the US Postal service after a lengthy career of delivering rural mail. He attended the Cambridge Springs Methodist Church and enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing and exhibiting his produce at the Crawford County Fair. He will be remembered for his physical strength,  pleasing personality and firm handshake.

     He was preceded in death by his wife Thelma Kay Andrews ten days before their 49th wedding anniversary on June 20, 2011; a grandson Thomas Andrews, Jr; and son-in-law William Repasky.

     He is survived by his wife Carolyn Zahora Andrews whom he married on December 20, 2015, of Cambridge Springs; son John Andrews and his wife Sydney of Arizona; daughter Susan Repasky of Colorado; son Michael Andrews and his wife Teresa of Cambridge Springs; son Tom Andrews of Cambridge Springs; daughter Jill Tucker and her husband Josh of Wyoming; grandchildren: Riley Andrews, Ethan Andrews, Andy Repasky and his wife Yael, Ali Black and her husband Jeremy, Maddi Repasky, Micki Repasky, Megan Andrews and her companion John Prickett, Matthew Andrews, Maria Dennis and her husband Ethan, Marley Andrews, and Abby Tucker; great grandchildren: Gabriel Repasky, Felicity Repasky, Sammy Repasky, Lucy Repasky, Lily Black, and Katie Black; sister Alice Kingsley; and sister Jeanette Fitch.

     Friends are invited to call at Van Matre Funeral Home, Cambridge Springs on Friday, August 4 from 6-7 pm. A memorial service will follow at 7 pm with the Rev. Larry Peters of Cambridge Springs United Methodist Church officiating.
