In Loving Memory of Constance Marie Lavery (Bokshan)

Connie Lavery, age 59, of Waterford, passed away peacefully at home with her family on January 12, 2024.

Connie was born on July 2, 1964, in Erie, PA to John and Janet (Coty) Bokshan. She attended Harborcreek High School, and until her recent retirement, had been employed for many years at a local Waterford restaurant, “Jakes on the Park.”

Connie was known for her kindness, selflessness, and love for her animals. She spent many of her weekends riding on the back of her husband’s Harley Davidson, camping with friends, or spending time with her beloved grandchildren. She was also a member of the Fort Leboeuf American Legion Post #285, where she was a long-time member and former president of the American Legion Lady’s Auxiliary.

Connie is survived by her devoted husband of 35 years, John Lavery; their combined children and spouses: Jake Carver (Laura Carver), Michael Lavery (Valarie Lavery), and Jennifer Lavery-Zeppieri; siblings: Dale Bokshan, Brian Bokshan, Darrel Bokshan, Gary Bokshan, Kathy Cooper; grandchildren: Cole Carver, Chase Carver, Cecilia Carver, Maya Lavery, Hannah Birkmire, Anthony Zeppieri, Dominic Zeppieri, Olivia Tripp, Alayna Rico, and Josh Rico. Furthermore, she will be deeply missed by a wide circle of friends.

In addition to her parents, Connie is preceded in death by her parents-in-law: Marvin Yaple, June Yaple, Thomas Lavery, Arabelle Lavery; granddaughter: Alyssa Hall.

The family expresses gratitude for the support and condolences during this difficult time.
