Annalee Grace Stafford, age 90, of Edinboro, died Monday, January 2, 2017 at Fairview Manor. Born on February 10, 1926 in Buckhannon, WV, she was a daughter of the late Evan Daniel Hefner and Annie Lona Cutright Hefner.

Those preceding her in death include her former husband, Harold R. Stafford; two children, Shirley Ann Stafford and a baby boy Stafford; two sisters, Kathleen Benson and Dorothy Roseberry; and a daughter-in-law, Kathy Stafford.

Annalee is survived by six children– Sam Stafford (wife, Claudia) of Erie, Robert Stafford (Peggy Jones) of Waterford, Lester Stafford (wife, Sandy) of Erie, Linda Humes (husband, Victor) of Edinboro, Eloise McArdle of Cornelius, NC, and Rodger Stafford of Cambridge Springs. She is further survived by nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Ethel Woolslayer of Erie; and two brothers, James Hefner (wife, Alice) of Erie and Joseph Hefner of Greensburg, SC.
Annalee loved the Lord and she loved her family. She raised her children on the family farm and instilled in them, by her example, the value of hard work. She could be described as a giving and caring woman who was kind-hearted and always willing to help; and, she loved the color red!

For many years, Annalee enjoyed working in housekeeping at Saint Vincent Health Center and made many lifelong friends there.

Friends and family are invited to visiting hours at Draketown Christian Church in Edinboro on Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m., officiated by Rev. Ron Kennedy. Burial will be in Erie County Memorial Gardens.
