Ralph LaVern Batchelor, 88, of Stoneboro, formerly of Old Rt. 86, Cambridge Springs for over 50 years, passed away at Crawford County Care Center on December 11, 2020, after a period of declining health. Ralph was born in Tallmadge, Ohio on June 11, 1932, the son of the late Bruce Andrew Batchelor and Gladys Leona Shellito Batchelor.? For forty-six years, Ralph was a passionate dairy farmer who enjoyed hunting, singing for church functions and spending time with family.
In addition to his parents Ralph was preceded in death by great grandson, Colby Boylan; brother, Andrew Batchelor; and son-in-law, Jack Yenny.
Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Priscilla Ann Freeman Batchelor; five children: Nathan (Renee) Batchelor, Debra (DuWayne) Barrall, Cindy (Gary) Boylan, Heidi Yenny, and Becky (John) Brown; nine grandchildren: Lindsey (Shane) Crevar, Timothy (Kate) Barrall, Rebecca (Ken) Struthers, Joshua(Laurel) Boylan, Matthew (Erin )Boylan, Misty Williamson, Emily (Keith) Birkmire, Luke (Angie) Slater, and Megan (Justin) Becki; twenty great grandchildren: Nathan Crevar, Jaxon Barrall, Olivia Stockton, Benjamin, Lucas, and Rachel Struthers, Alex and Ava Boylan, Laine, Haylee, Martha, and Matthew Jr. Boylan, Danica and Leeah Williamson, Kyle and Koday Birkmire, Jacob and Nora Slater, and Quinn and Anderson Becki; Two step grandsons, David and Dean Yenny; niece, Suetta (Art) Clawson; and nephew, Daniel (Janet) Batchelor.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
