David Conrad Haemer, 72, of Saegertown, passed away Monday, April 26, 2021.
David was born in Meadville on the 24th of May, 1948 to Conrad and Joyce Haemer.
After graduating from Saegertown High School, class of 1966, David completed a tool and die apprenticeship at Kuhn Tool and Die. David went on to build his own business, Haemer Tool and Die, by which he was well known. David’s character was unforgettable thanks to his sharp mind, quick wit, and candor. His generosity and work ethic made him a respected member of his community, but his sense of humor and eagerness to engage in conversation defined his personality. David enjoyed many things in addition to his work in the tool and die trade. He had a love for farming and enjoyed working the land. As a dedicated provider, David built more than one home for his family to live in. His hobbies included golf, gardening, playing cards, and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Dennis McCartney. David is survived by three children, Julie Haemer Scott (Ed), Steven Haemer, Mathew Haemer (fiancé Jackie Stewart), and one grandchild Ciara Petrick. He also leaves behind four siblings, Mark Haemer (Christine), Judy McCartney (Dennis), Donald Haemer (Mary Ann), and Christy Clawson (Jeff), along with several nieces and nephews. David was loved by his family and will be missed.
