Mary Ann Hipple, 73, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. She was born on August 7, 1947 in Pittsburgh, to the late Raymond & Arline Cujas Easton.
Mary Ann was raised in Freedom, PA and later was a member of Cambridge Springs UMC. She was an avid reader and retired as a manager for her local bookstore after many years of dedicated service. Following her relocation to Myrtle Beach, she was active in Surfside Beach UMC and her community. Above all else, Mary Ann loved her family with her whole heart. She will be deeply missed.
In addition to her parents, Mary Ann is preceded in death by her in laws, Clifton and Margaret Hipple.
Left to cherish Mary Ann’s memory are her beloved husband, Clifton Jack Hipple of Myrtle Beach; daughter Deborah Batteiger (Alan) of Murray, KY; son, Michael Hipple (Sam) of Seattle, WA; grandchildren, Matthew, Alyssa, Robert & Hillary; sisters Pat Palmer and her husband, Bill, of Rochester, PA and Adena Easton of Freedom, PA; brother in-law, Dallas Hipple of Renfrew, PA; several nieces, nephews and cousins; a large, loving extended family and many supportive friends and neighbors.
Friends and family are invited to call on Saturday May 29, 2021 at Van Matre Funeral Home, Cambridge Springs from 6:00 until 8:00PM. A celebration of Mary Ann’s life will be held there on Sunday May 30, 2021 at 2:00PM. Interment will follow at Venango Cemetery.
