William B. Hardin, age 73, of Waterford, died suddenly of natural causes at home on Monday, May 23, 2022. He was born in Erie on June 19, 1948, a son of Boyd Hardin and Golden McIntosh Hardin.

Bill served in the US Army from 1968-71 and worked for Erie Forge as a heavy equipment operator for over 20 years. He enjoyed his family and friends and working in his yard. He will always be remembered for being a “good guy”.

Family members include his wife of 35 years, Rebecca E. Boyer Hardin, whom he married in 1987; four children- Shawn and Jacob, Halle and Wendy; eight grandchildren and numerous brothers and sisters.

A memorial gathering will be held for family and close friends at the VFW, 1808 West 26th Street, Erie on Saturday, May 28th from 1-4 pm.
