Marian E. Pfeffer Blasco Ruddell of Cambridge Springs died on September 19, 2022, at the age of 90. Marian was born on February 28, 1932, in Girard the daughter of the late Jacob Joseph Pfeffer and Marion Helen Ensle.  She was dedicated to the family business, Pfeffer Valley Farm. Even when the herd of Brown Swiss was dispersed, she enjoyed hobby farming and teaching her grandkids about how to care for the animals. She was an avid country music fan, especially of artists Don Williams, Whispering Bill Anderson, and Bob Homan. She looked forward to Jamboree in the Hills each year. In her later years, her mornings were spent gathering beach glass at Presque Isle, amassing a significant amount.

In addition to her parents, Marian was preceded in death by her siblings Jacob Pfeffer, Marjorie (Dick) Feldman, and Frank Pfeffer, as well as her former husbands, Ronald Blasco and Jerry Ruddell. She was also preceded in death by her only child Ronald “Ronnie Neil” Blasco.

She is survived by her grandchildren Benjamin (Maria) Blasco, Jenna (Kirk) Hudacky, Megan Blasco, and Garrett (Lindy) Blasco as well as greatgrandchildren Gerald Blasco and Gabriel Neil Blasco, Dylan and Gracelyn Hudacky, and Brycen, Alice, and Jakoby Blasco. She is also survived by her nieces Marjorie McWilliams and Rwianna Feldman and her former daughter-in-law Susan Blasco.

Marian will be remembered as a hard worker with a gentle soul. She was always willing to lend a hand and brought cheer and comfort with her calm demeanor.  Don Williams had a song “Till the Rivers all Run Dry” in which he professed never ending love. Nanny, that’s how long we will love and miss you.
