Elsamae G. Bundy, 86, of Cambridge Springs passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2023. Elsamae was born April 5, 1936, in Cambridge Springs the daughter of the late Harry A. Fry and Ora Anna Smeltzer Fry. On February 2, 1952, Elsamae married Charles Leroy Bundy, and he preceded her in death on July 8, 2008. A devout Christian, Elsamae was a member of the First Church of God in Cambridge Springs and dedicated her life to caring for her family. Her friendly personality motivated her to invest in people. She enjoying visiting with others, gardening and baking.

In addition to her husband, Charles, Elsamae was preceded in death by son, Mark Bundy in 2015; grandson, Jeremy Bundy in 2002; and five brothers and four sisters.
Survivors include son, Richard Bundy and his wife, Cindi of Millsboro, PA; son, Tim Bundy and his wife, Barb of Cochranton; daughter, Roxane Frantz and her husband, Robert of Meadville; son, Dale Bundy and his wife, Jenny of Sparta, GA; son, Brian Bundy and his wife, Sheila of Cambridge Springs; ten grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren; sister, Bert Bancroft and her husband, George of Little Cooley; and brother, Wayne Fry of Pennsylvania.
Friends may call at Van Matre Funeral Home in Cambridge Springs on Thursday, January 19, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A funeral service will be held there on Friday, January 20 at 10 am with the Rev. Jim Callender officiating. Interment will follow at Millers Station Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Zem Zem Shrine, Erie, PA.
I am so sorry for your loss. Our world was a brighter place with her in it! I never saw her but she didn’t give me a hug and make me feel like the most important person on the planet! I absolutely loved her and am blessed to have known her.
