Raymond Howard Brown, 59, of Cambridge Springs passed away suddenly, on Friday, May 26, 2023. Ray was born on July 26, 1963, in Pittsburgh, the son of the late Clarence Brown and Lillie Wickerle Brown. He was a 1981 graduate of General McLane High School and was employed with West County Paramedics, Edinboro Manor, and recently with Kwik-Fill of Edinboro. Ray was dedicated to serving his community and was a General McLane High School football coach and had been a volunteer fireman and fire policeman with Franklin Center, Edinboro, and Cambridge Springs Fire Departments. He was a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Oasis Club, Zem Zem Shrine Cycle Corps, Order of the Eastern Star Shiloh Chapter, and Sons of the American Legion.

Survivors include wife Deborah Marie Brown whom he married on May 19, 2001, brother Ralph Brown and his wife Jennifer of Wesleyville, and sister Barbara Kuttruff and her husband Gene of Fairview.
Friends are invited to call at Van Matre Funeral Home, Cambridge Springs on Tuesday, May 30, from 6-8 pm and to a funeral service to be held at St Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Drakes Mills, on Wednesday at 10 am with interment to follow at St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery.
