Karen Lee Allen – Jaeger, 54, of Waterford passed away at LECOM at Presque Isle on August 29, 2023. Karen was born in Meadville on November 12, 1968, daughter of the late Arthur Neil Allen and Carol Ann Bras Allen. She graduated with the Cambridge Springs High School class of 1987. On September 11, 2015, she married Brian Joseph Jaeger. For over twenty years, Karen was employed as a nurse at the Hamot Surgical Center. She was a volunteer at “Because You Care” in McKean and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and friend who triumphantly battled Multiple System Atrophy for over five years.

     In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by brother, Arthur Allen, Jr.

     Survivors include husband, Brian Jaeger of Waterford; daughter, Karlee Ann Allen and her companion, Neil Noyes of Grove City; brother, Mark Allen of Washington state; sister, Rebecca Hogan and her husband Steve of North Carolina.      

Friends are invited to call at Van Matre Funeral Home, Cambridge Springs on Friday, September 1, from 6 pm until a time of sharing at 8 pm. Interment at Venango Cemetery.
