Lisa Marie Turner Squires, age 59, of McKean, PA, passed away Sunday, September 17, 2023 surrounded by her loved ones. Born June 24, 1964 in Erie to the late Charles and Julia Turner, Lisa worked for the State Welfare office in Erie and was a member of the Auxiliary for the Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion. She married James L. Squires on November 1, 2014 and together they shared a love for the outdoors, gardening, camping, and love for family and friends.

Lisa is survived by sons- James Humes (Keisha), John Humes (Kasie), and Jeff Squires (Brenda); and daughters- Julia McDonald (Mike) and Shawna Slye (Tom); and 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; and her nieces and nephews whom she loved very much.

Family and friends may pay their final respects at Van Matre Funeral Home in Edinboro on Thursday, September 21st from 3-6pm with a funeral service at 6:00pm. A wake will immediately follow at St. Francis Ushers Club in McKean.
