August 1, 2025 at 12:33 pm’60’s duck hunting at the ‘head, straddling the dam;…. cruising the narrow calm between steep green mountains rising from 600′ depths; rolling thru 3′ riptides on the Alice Mae, quick over-the-rail belly discharge providing chum for seagulls; Otters lifting the hatch to swipe fresh catch; flat-flopping halibut that’d cover a galley table, $60 Kings in the hold; .22’s plinking off the back porch, quarter bets; high school poker games ’till sunrise….again, Adios my friend, we had alot’a fun.
